<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search meta data described with various character codes by making it possible to convert characters even when the correspondence relation of characters is not 1 to 1, or even when expressions are different. <P>SOLUTION: As for each character of a keyword input by an input part 11, a type determination part 121 determines a conversion type by referring to a conversion type determination rule storage part 15, and a conversion processing part 122 convers each character of the keyword into the character of another character code on the basis of the conversion type by referring to a correspondence dictionary storage part 16, and a search part 13 searches a corresponding database by using the keyword whose character code has been converted. The type determination part 121 specifies the corresponding character with the other character code on the basis of characters before and after the character as the object of conversion. Even when the correspondence relation of the characters is not 1 to 1, or even when expressions are different, it is possible to appropriately convert the keyword, and to search meta data described with the different character codes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
