<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining section having high structural strength and free from vibration as a protection grid of a heat exchanger used in a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This heat exchanger 1 used in the vehicle includes a frame 3, a plurality of tubes 5 extending in parallel with each other, a pair of headers 7a, 7b disposed at two sides 3a, 3b of the frame, and the protection grid 10 mounted on a face of the heat exchanger 1. The protection grid 10 includes a plurality of parallel grid elements 11 for shielding corresponding tubes 5 of the heat exchanger 1. The heat exchanger 1 includes a fixing/supporting means 15, opposed sides 13a, 13b of the protection grid 10 are directly connected and firmly fixed by the fixing/supporting means 15, and the protection grid 10 is supported by the heat exchanger 1. Furthermore, a lower fixing means 17 is disposed, and a lower end 13d of the protection grid 10 is non-firmly held at a lower side of the heat exchanger 1 by the lower fixing means 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
