<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optional paper feeding device and a printing apparatus, in which a paper feeding device is changed to a "air separation belt suction manner" easily in response to requests from a customer and a user, in the printing apparatus for facilitating an optional exchange of a paper-feeding separation unit of the printing apparatus, in particular, employing a friction pad manner or a reverse roller separation. <P>SOLUTION: The optional paper feeding device 200 includes: a separation pad 21 and a pickup roller 15 disposed on a side of a printing apparatus body; a paper feeding mount 29; a paper-feeding-mount moving up/down means for moving the paper feeding mount 29 up and down; a pierced endless belt 37; a belt driving means for rotating and driving the pierced endless belt 37; an air suction means; a front air discharging means; a side air discharging means; and a driven roller 52 positioned below the pickup roller 15 on the side of the printing apparatus body to come into contact with the pickup roller 15 at a predetermined pressure force and be driven, and for conveying paper separated by air, when an air paper feeding device is mounted to the printing apparatus body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
