<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of forming a color conversion lookup table that more suppresses gloss unevenness and an influence due to the bronze phenomenon. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a printer that stores a color conversion lookup table therein. The manufacturing method of the printer comprises the steps of: preparing a neural network that has performed learning of a combination of a plurality of test ink amount sets individually representing a plurality of ink amount sets having been prepared beforehand and regular reflection values L<SP POS="POST">*</SP>, a<SP POS="POST">*</SP>and b<SP POS="POST">*</SP>caused by regularly reflected light of a color patch printed according to the plurality of test ink amount sets as learning data; determining an ink amount set associated with a representative color value that becomes an object to be processed out of the plurality of ink amount sets selected as candidates by evaluating each of the plurality of ink amount sets selected as a candidate on the basis of each of the regular reflection values L<SP POS="POST">*</SP>, a<SP POS="POST">*</SP>and b<SP POS="POST">*</SP>; forming a color conversion lookup table on the basis of a determined ink amount set; and storing the color conversion lookup table in a storage section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
