<p>The invention relates to a connection device ( 10 ) comprising: a socket end ( 12 ), a spigot end ( 11 ) which is intended to be inserted into the socket end ( 12 ) and a locking member ( 18 ) which is intended to hold the spigot end ( 11 ) in the socket end ( 12 ) once they have been connected. The locking member ( 18 ) is shaped in the form of a staple comprising a head with two side arms. The spigot end ( 11 ) comprises an actuating cone which is used to lift the locking member ( 18 ) and to position the spigot end ( 11 ) between the arms of the locking member ( 18 ). The locking member ( 18 ) preferably comprises a deformable tongue on each side arm.
