PURPOSE: A method and system for relaying an authentication number and a program therefor are provided to conveniently assign an authentication number for a payment service or a user authentication service to a portable apparatus of a user which is connectable to an open type data network through a data network. CONSTITUTION: An authentication number acquisition unit(105) obtains service authentication data including recognition information which recognizes an authentication number. A data storage unit(110) stores the obtained service authentication data. A recognition information extracting unit(120) extracts the recognition information from the service authentication data. An identification code assigning part(125) assigns an identification code which identifies a stored location of content information or inherently identifies the stored content information to separately extracted recognition information. A recognition information transfer unit(150) transfers the recognition information to a messenger server.
