PURPOSE: A system for checking a network load in a multi-communication network and a method thereof are provided to enable a mobile terminal to use a quick and stable communication service through a network having a low load in a situation that there are various communication networks. CONSTITUTION: A network load checking system(200) includes an interface unit, a processor, and a control unit. The interface unit identifies a BS(Base Station) including a spot of a mobile terminal in coverage. The interface unit receives load state information from the identified BS. The processor determines a first access BS among BSs by analyzing the received load state information. The control unit controls the mobile terminal so that the mobile terminal is connected in a communication network mode which the determined first access BS supports.
