PURPOSE: A manipulator is provided to fix an object to a desired position and at a desired time when the rotary shaft of a first motor is stopped. CONSTITUTION: A manipulator comprises translation parts with translationally moving units(30). The translation parts comprise first and second motors(10,20). The first rotary shafts of the first motors are coupled to the translationally moving units, and the first motors supply forward and backward rotation power to the translationally moving units. The second rotary shafts of the second motors are coupled to the stators of the first motors, and the second motors rotate the stators of the first motors in forward and backward directions. When the second motors are stopped, the stoppers of the second motors fix the second rotary shafts of the second motors.
