PURPOSE: A roller with a brake apparatus is provided to stop a movable member while a brake pad is closely attached to a rail when detecting the falling movable member. CONSTITUTION: A roller(A) with a brake apparatus comprises a base(100), a fixing member(200), and a brake unit(300). The base comprises a rolling unit(110). The fixing member is connected to the base. The brake unit generates frictional force with the inside of a rail. The brake unit comprises a case(310), a brake pad(320), and a driving source(330).
