PURPOSE: A communication mode control method, mobile terminal, and recording medium thereof are provided to control a communication mode by recognizing the execution of communication. CONSTITUTION: When a distance with an adjacent object is smaller than a threshold distance, a processor(130) determines a communication mode as a voluntary communication mode or an involuntary communication mode. When the communication mode is selected to the voluntary communication mode, the processor maintains the communication mode. When the communication mode is selected to the involuntary communication mode, the processor compulsorily terminates the communication mode.
