PURPOSE: A power line communication automatic meter reading system using an electric saving safety system is provided to supply power state information for a load of a central control server or a user terminal or control the load by receiving power control information. CONSTITUTION: A transformer(3) is connected to a transmission and distribution line(2) supplying power to an area where a customer(1) is populated and applies AC power to the customer. An electric saving safety system(4) is equipped inside the customer and facilitates control of the power provided to a load from the transformer, a remote meter reading service, and power line communication. A power line communication relay(5) is connected between electric saving safety systems and the transformer. The power line communication relay receives power state information of the electric saving safety systems through power line communication and provides to a central control server(6) through wire/wireless communication. The power line communication relay provides power control information for controlling the power through the wire/wireless communication to the electric saving safety systems.
