PURPOSE: A bridge bearing apparatus is provided to prevent an elastic pad from becoming damaged by improving a support structure of a support ball. CONSTITUTION: A bridge bearing apparatus(200) comprises an upper plate(210), a lower plate(220), an elastic pad(230), a support ball(240), and a support unit. The upper plate is fixed to the lower part of the upper structure of a bridge. The lower parte is fixed to the upper part of the lower structure of the bridge. The elastic pad is placed between the upper and lower plates. The support ball is placed at the center of the elastic pad, and supports the loads applied to the upper plate. The support ball presses the elastic pad when the upper plate moves. The support unit prevents the elastic pad from becoming separated from a space between the upper and lower plates. |
