PURPOSE: A bridge bearing apparatus is provided to increase the force of restitution of an elastic pad by spreading loads applied to the elastic pad. CONSTITUTION: A bridge bearing apparatus(200) comprises an upper plate(210), a lower plate(220), an elastic pad(230), a support(240), and a support unit. The upper plate is fixed to the lower part of an upper structure. The bottom plate is fixed to the top of the substructure of the bridge. The elastic pad is placed between the upper and lower plates. The support is placed at the center of the elastic pad, and supports the loads applied to the upper plate. The support presses the elastic pad when the upper plate moves. The support unit prevents the elastic pad from becoming separated from a space between the upper and lower plates. |
