PURPOSE: A gift certificate calculating system and a management method thereof are provided to easily and conveniently calculate gift certificates collected by a user by automatically recognizing and classifying the gift certificates through a gift certificate calculation device. CONSTITUTION: Plural gift certificate calculation devices(100-1,100-n) process the use of a card and authentication. The gift certificate calculation devices recognize rules and kinds of gift certificates. The gift certificate calculation devices calculate the gift certificates according to each inserter. A financial server(500) determines the approval of a gift certificate calculation request. The financial server calculates the amount of money for the gift certificates.
