PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for installing a cable on a tray are provided to greatly reduce installation time by simultaneously installing several strands of cables. CONSTITUTION: A lead-in guide portion(200) is arranged at an entry of a tray(100). The lead-in guide portion leads a cable(160) which is unwound from a bobbin(150) and moves to an upper side of the tray. One end of a transfer rope(300) is connected to the cable. The transfer rope is installed on the upper side of the tray along the tray. A rope guide portion(400) is installed at an outlet side of the tray to lead the movement of the transfer rope. A pull portion(500) pulls the transfer rope led through the rope guide portion and installs the cable on the upper side of the tray. |
