PURPOSE: A composite pile using a hollow pipe connector and a construction method thereof are provided to effectively guide load transfer and to easily control quality of connection. CONSTITUTION: A composite pile(100) using a hollow pipe connector comprises a steel pipe pile(120), a hollow pipe connector(130), concrete(121), and a head reinforcement unit(140). The steel pipe pile is welded to the outer top surface of a hollow head protection plate formed on the top of a hollow concrete pile(110). The bottom of the hollow pipe connector is welded to the top surface of the hollow head protection plate and is extended to the top of the steel pipe pile. The inner space formed by the hollow pipe connector and the steel pipe pile is filled with the concrete, and the filled concrete connects the hollow pipe connector and the steel pipe pile to each other.
