A resource monitoring network interface which enables data exchange between at least two separate resource monitoring networks and a user interface to facilitate the optimisation of input data usage and utility resource monitoring and usage by enabling more than one network, such as a home area network (HAN) to communicate with another disparate HAN whilst also providing a single user interface to communicate with each HAN. The resource monitoring network interface comprises a transceiver for communication with each resource network. The transceivers may be wireless. The transceivers for each network may operate on different frequencies, different protocols, etc. |
