PURPOSE: A reclining apparatus of a vehicle seat is provided to improve steering performance by minimizing unloaded rotation of a steering wheel. CONSTITUTION: A reclining apparatus(100) of a vehicle seat comprises a drum(120), a brake spring(130), a socket, a handle, a moving section, and an action section expansion(220). The drum comprises a through hole and a housing space. The brake spring comprises a hook(131) and is installed in a containing space. The socket comprises a locking action unit(142). The handle comprises a pair of unlocking action units(111). An allowance space is formed between the locking part of the socket and the unlocking action unit of the handle and composed to move the hook of a brake spring while operating the recliner.
