<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aromatic diamino compound in high efficiency by hydrogenating an aromatic dinitrile compound under a mild reaction condition with a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: An aromatic diamino compound is produced by hydrogenating an aromatic dinitrile compound in a reaction solvent in the presence of a noble metal supporting catalyst and hydrogen, wherein the reaction is carried out in the presence of a cyclic secondary amine compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
