<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reforming apparatus for producing a reformed gas rich in hydrogen from a raw material fuel of a hydrocarbon fuel and the like such as town gas, natural gas, and LPG, which is hard to backfire and flame out, while suppressing noise generation. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel reforming apparatus comprises a reforming reaction part 1 having a reforming catalyst for producing the reformed gas containing the hydrogen by reacting the raw material fuel with air, a combustion part 2 for heating the reforming reaction part 1, a blower 3 for generating a flow of the air to be supplied to the combustion part 2, an air introducing part 4 for introducing the air flow generated by the blower 3 to the combustion part 2 by connecting the blower 3 to the combustion part 2, and a fuel introducing part 5 for introducing a fuel for combustion to the combustion part 2. A silencer 6 having a size of an inner room 7 tuned to a sound source frequency of the sound generated by the blower 3 is connected to the terminal end of the air introducing part 4 and the combustion part 2 is formed in one body with the silencer 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
