<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer electrolyte cost-effective, eco-friendly, excellent in moldability, and excellent in heat resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The polymer electrolyte is made of a block copolymer which has a polymer block A and a flexible polymer block B as constituents where the polymer block A has an ion conductive group and a structural unit originated from a styrene derivative expressed by a formula I, where R<SP>1</SP>is a cycloaliphatic hydrocarbon radical having a polycyclic structure, and R<SP>2</SP>is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, or an aryl group.
