PURPOSE: A self-assembly protection pipe for gas pipes is provided to relieve a vibration and an impact of the outside with an integrated buffer member and prevent damage to a coating for rust proofing on a outer surface of the gas pipes. CONSTITUTION: A self-assembly protection pipe(30) for gas pipes covers a gas pipe(10). Buffer members(20) cover an outer surface of the gas pipe. The buffer members are integrally fixed at both ends of the protection pipe. Screw holes(34) of both planation surface units(33) are prepared on an upper casing(31) and a lower casing(32) respectively. The screw holes are combined by using fastening members(40).
