<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printing system capable of performing simultaneous printing work efficiently for multiple substrates including substrates of various kinds, and a screen printing method using the same. <P>SOLUTION: In a screen printing device 2, which constitutes an electronic component packaging line 1 and which prints a paste for electronic component junction on a substrate, a substrate conveyance part 8 for conveying a substrate 5 forward and backward at will in the substrate conveyance direction is provided in between a first screen printing part 7A and a second screen printing part 7B positioned symmetrically in relation to the line centerline CL. This enables various substrate conveyance forms as needed, including return conveyance which returns the substrate 5 from the downstream device to upstream of the screen printing device 2, and bypass conveyance which conveys the substrate sent from upstream to the downstream device by passing the substrate through the screen printing device.
