PURPOSE: A method and a device for guiding a direction of a fuel inlet of a vehicle are provided to use the communication of a navigation device and cluster of a vehicle, thereby minimizing expenses for providing additional service. CONSTITUTION: A method for guiding a direction of a fuel inlet of a vehicle comprises next steps. Whether a vehicle enters to a gas station or not is confirmed by using position information of a navigation device of a vehicle(S400). When the vehicle enters the gas station is confirmed, the information of a direction of a fuel inlet is output on a cluster screen by using a communication line between the cluster and navigation device of the vehicle(S500). Whether the vehicle is left the gas station or not is confirmed by using the position information of the navigation device. When the vehicle left the gas station, the output of the information of the fuel inlet is terminated(S700).
