PURPOSE: A top side test system for a LNG-FPSO(Liquefied Natural Gas-Floating Production Storage Offloading) and a test method using the same are provided to perform test operation in same conditions as actual operational conditions by testing the pressure, flow rate, temperature and level of a top side equipment. CONSTITUTION: A top side test system for a LNG-FPSO comprises a LNG storage tank(100), a compressing unit(200), an adjusting unit(300), an expansion unit(400), a turbine unit(500), and a control unit. The LNG storage tank is arranged in a LNG-FPSO. The compressing unit compresses boil-off gas to perform the test operation of a top side by using the boil-off gas generating in the LNG storage tank. The adjusting unit controls the pressure and temperature of the boil-off gas compressed in the compressing unit to convert the boil-off gas to liquid LNG. The expansion unit expands the LNG supplied from the adjusting unit. The turbine unit is operated by interlocking with the expansion unit and generates electricity. The control part controls test conditions when the boil-off gas and the LNG pass through the top side equipment.
