A vent arrangement for a frame component having a first engagement profile on one side and a second engagement profile the opposite side, the vent arrangement comprising a first vent section secured to the frame component and having a first mounting feature cooperating with the first frame engagement profile, and a first engagement feature of substantially the same shape and size the first engagement profile, and a second vent section secured to the frame component and having a second mounting feature cooperating with the second frame engagement profile, and a second engagement feature of substantially the same shape and size as the second engagement profile, wherein the first and second vent sections are each provided with ventilation openings. The vent assembly is designed to be retrofitted to existing window/door frames with the engagement profiles carrying a bead or seal. |
