The invention relates to a method for fixing a bearing ring (1) to or in a part (2) by means of an adhesive bond. In order to improve the fastening process between the bearing ring and the part, the invention comprises the following steps: a) applying the adhesive (3) onto on area of the bearing ring (1) and/or onto an area of the part (2), wherein the adhesive (3) comprises two reactive components, and wherein the one component is arranged in a number of capsules and thereby is separated from the other component, b) joining the bearing ring (1) and the part (2) in the desired relative position in which said bearing ring and said part are supposed to be glued together, c) simultaneously with step b) and/or after step b): destroying the separating effect of the capsules, so that the component present in the capsules is mixed with the other component and a curing reaction can take place between the two components. |
