<p>A condensation dryer has a drying chamber for items to be dried, and a process air channel in which a heater for heating the process air and a fan for delivering the process air are located. A rinsing device is provided for rinsing lint from a component that can be loaded with lint, by means of condensate from a condensate collection vessel. Rinsed lint is collected by a filter bag of a filter device, and a condensate pump delivers the condensate into the condensate collection vessel, with the filter device and the being arranged downstream of the component.
