FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry. The method of isolating a homogeneous cambial cell line involves: obtaining storage root tissue, treating the tissue with osmotic stress, removing the osmotic stress, inducing cambial cell line proliferation by culturing the obtained cambium-containing root tissue in an inducing medium containing a specific cambium cell division hormone and collecting the induced cambial cell line. Disclosed is a homogeneous cambial cell line obtained using the described method from cambium of a herbaceous plant with a storage root and/or cambium of ginseng root. Disclosed is a composition which contains the obtained homogeneous cambial cell line for inhibiting expression of UV-induced matrix metalloproteinase in human cells. Disclosed is a method of obtaining an antioxidant, involving: culturing the obtained homogeneous cambial cell line, separating the cells from the medium, and obtaining a cell extract or extracting the medium in which the cells grew. ^ EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a homogeneous cambial cell line which can be used to obtain large amounts of useful plants which are difficult to culture on open air. ^ 27 cl, 11 dwg, 14 tbl, 5 ex |
