PURPOSE: An extrusion assisting device for easily removal of butts is provided to effectively separate the residues of butts attached to a blade by directly contacting the entire lateral side of a hammer unit to the blade. CONSTITUTION: An extrusion assisting device for easily removal of butts comprises a cutting unit(20) and a residue removing unit(30). The cutting unit is formed horizontally and located at the leading end of an extrusion body for extruding billet to cut butts remaining on billet after extrusion. The residue removing unit is moved up and down on the cutting unit to remove the residues of butts attached to the cutting unit.
