摘要 FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining cross-linked hydrophilic polymer, demonstrating properties of superabsorbent, includes radical polymerization of acryl monomer in water medium in presence of oxidation-reduction initiating system, as acryl monomer used is N,N-dimethylacrylamide or its mixture with hydrophilic uncharged and/or ionogenic acryl monomer, polymerisation is carried out in frozen water medium, for which purpose initial solution of reagents is frozen and kept at -5Ç-40C for 4Ç24 h, after which frozen system is thawed out, target product is separated and dried by known methods. ^ EFFECT: simplification of composition of initial mixture of acryl comonomers, as special linking agent is not introduced into initial solution for obtaining cross-linked polymer, invention is characterised by higher level of process safety on the whole, it is characterised by essential universality with respect to possibilities of varying water-absorbing ability of target product. ^ 2 cl, 1 tbl, 41 ex
