FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves the stages of preparing an ultrasound apparatus which generates ultrasonic energy, holding the ultrasound apparatus in place external with respect to a trabecular mesh structure, transmitting ultrasonic energy at frequency 20000 to 100000 Hz into a desired place for a pre-set period of time, removing a material collected in the trabecular mesh structure, and generating heat which initiates intraocular biochemical changes. The group also comprises an apparatus applied for implementing the techniques under the method. ^ EFFECT: group of inventions enables reducing collected disintegration products from an eye in ultrasound therapy of glaucoma, initiating biochemical processes enabling reducing intraocular pressure without involvement of ocular tissues. ^ 15 cl, 6 dwg |
