PURPOSE: A method for processing a signal among defective conditions is provided to guarantee detection of the generation of defects. CONSTITUTION: A signal processor monitors a signal from a sensor element(710). The signal processor sets a defect state indicator in order to indicate defective conditions in response to detections of the defective conditions related to a received signal(720). The signal processor sets the state of the defect state indicator for a set time amount in order to indicate the generation of the detected defective conditions(730). The signal processor continuously monitors the signal created by the sensor element after setting the defect state indicator for the set time in order to indicate the generation of the detected defective conditions(740).
