PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of silicon dioxide-cerium dioxide core-shells using micro emulsion is provided to use physical property of silicon dioxide and surface chemical property of cerium dioxide. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of silicon dioxide-cerium dioxide core-shells using micro emulsion comprises the following steps: manufacturing first micro emulsion which is composed of surfactant, organic solvent, and water or an ammonia solution (NH4OH); manufacturing silicon dioxide nano-particles by adding tetraethyl orthosilicate to the first micro emulsion; manufacturing second micro emulsion which includes amine - silicon dioxide nano-particles by adding (3- aminopropyl)trimethoxysilane and modifying silicon dioxide nano particle surface with amine group; manufacturing third micro emulsion which is composed of a cerium dioxide precursor aqueous solution, organic solvent and surfactant; and manufacturing silicon dioxide-cerium dioxide core-shell nano-particle by adding the third micro emulsion to the second micro emulsion and coating cerium dioxide on the surface of the amine-silicon dioxide nano-particles.
