FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed plant comprises casting machine, rolling stands with roller drives, withdrawal rollers with drives mounted after last stand, guillotine-shears and two driven reels. Note here that drives of last and penultimate stands. Withdrawal rollers and reels are electrically interconnected to maintain invariable roller rpm-to-breakdown feed speed ratio after reaching preset rolling moment. Note also that reels are mounted to allow plane-parallel vertical displacement of their drums.
