<p>A solar cell and its manufacturing method are provided to increase the surface area of a light receiving region and to reduce the reflection of light by forming a hemi-spherical semiconductor layer on a front surface of the solar cell itself. A solar cell includes a semiconductor substrate, a hemi-spherical semiconductor layer, a first electrode, and a second electrode. The semiconductor substrate includes a first region of first conductive type and a second region of second conductive type. The hemi-spherical semiconductor layer(120) is formed within the second region. The hemi-spherical semiconductor layer has the second conductive type. The first electrode(140) is connected with the first region. The second electrode(180) is connected with the second region.</p> |
