PURPOSE: A device and a method for cleaning an electronic printing roller are provided to save time and effort due to having no need to disassemble a roller, and to reduce danger to an operator by minimizing exposure to a cleaning liquid. CONSTITUTION: A device(100) for cleaning an electronic printing roller is installed in an electronic printing device. The cleaning device is arranged below a roller and cleans the roller by touching the roller. The cleaning device comprises a cleaning chamber(110) and transporting unit. The cleaning chamber is mounted in a recessed unit. The recessed unit is formed on a table of the electronic printing device. The cleaning chamber stores a cleaning liquid. The transporting unit is installed on a bottom surface of the recessed unit, thereby touching a bottom surface of the cleaning chamber.
