PURPOSE: An asphalt concrete composition is provided to maintain strength same as aggregates; to minimize the freezing of paved roads with excellent insulation performance; to thaw relatively fast; and to extend the life of the paved roads. CONSTITUTION: An asphalt concrete composition is composed of 4-10 wt.% of an asphalt binder, 30-40 wt.% of a soil ball, 50-60 wt.% of a fine aggregate, and 1-5 wt.% of a filter. Soil is pressed to form the soil ball. The diameter of the soil ball is 5-20mm. |
