<p>The aim of the invention is to temporarily retain sheet metal strips ( 21 - 24 ) which are cut from a metal plate by a roller cutting device ( 2 ). Said aim is achieved by using a holding device that magnetically and/or pneumatically grips the top face of the sheet metal strips, preferably in scissor shears, resulting in a substantially reduced adjusting effort and mechanical effort in comparison to previously used torsion bars.</p> |
