PURPOSE: Salting apparatus and method for salting massive amount of Chinese cabbage to produce kimchi are provided to directly transfer the salted Chinese cabbage to a washing apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A salting apparatus for salting massive amount of Chinese cabbage comprises the following: a net bag(100) including an opening on the center tied with a tying unit, and hanging units on each corner; a moving unit(220) including a hook for hanging the hanging units; a crane(200) including a rail(210) for guiding the movement of the moving unit; a salting tank(300) filled with salt water(400); and a washing apparatus installed on one side of the salting tank. |
