PURPOSE: An environmentally-friendly waste can is provided to prevent a fire beforehand by completely extinguishing cigarettes by forming a cigarette inlet port in a lid. CONSTITUTION: An environmentally-friendly waste can comprises a body, a lid, rollers(230), pinion gears(240), a pair of rack gears(250), a support plate, springs(340), a pushing plate, a pulling bar(500), and pedals(510). The cover is coupled at the top of the body to be opened and closed. A cigarette inlet port is formed in the center of the lid. Waste inlet ports are formed in the edge of the lid. Cigarette butts inserted through the cigarette inlet port is pressed and extinguished while being fitted between the rotating rollers. The pinion gears are coupled in both ends of the rollers and shares a rotary shaft with the rollers. The rack gears are engaged with the pinion gears to vertically move. The support plate is coupled to the lower end of the rack gears. The springs are coupled to the support plate. The pushing plate is coupled at the bottom of the springs. The pulling bar is extended downward through the pushing plate. The pedals are coupled at the bottom of the pulling bar. |
