PURPOSE: A digital receiver and a real time rating supplying method thereof are provided to generate rating information by performing sample survey of a digital receiver connected to the network. CONSTITUTION: An image display device transmits a first signal including setting information in a rating alarming mode to a server(S102). The image display device receives a second signal including setting conditions about rating information collection from the server(S105). In case the image display device is set up as a rating information collection target, a third signal including the channel rating information of the image display device is transmitted to the server(S106,S107). The image display device receives a fourth signal including the rating information from the server(S110).
