PURPOSE: A patent information processing method for fusion index factor score calculation are provided to reflect a many sided point for fusion in generation of a fusion index factor score, thereby generating a fusion index which validity is high. CONSTITUTION: A patent group is processed by the number of patents for a time unit totalized by a fixed time unit and the time unit and the number of new technology patents for the time unit calculated based on patent classification is totalized(S21). A first fusion factor score is calculated by the number of the patents for the time unit and the number of the new technology patents for the time unit(S22). A second fusion factor score is accumulated by the time unit for the patent composing the patent group. An accumulated reference time which an accumulated processing result reaches to the accumulated reference is calculated. The first fusion index score is calculated by using the first fusion factor score and the second fusion factor score.
