<p>PURPOSE: A software definition radio terminal device and a method for distributing and installing a radio application are provided to execute the same radio application in terminals having different modem chips by using a standard baseband API(Application Program Interface). CONSTITUTION: A radio application provider generates a radio application package by using a standard baseband API header(S10). The application package stored in a distribution server is installed in a terminal(S20). An execution file corresponding to an application for processing a radio signal is loaded through an application processor and a baseband processor(S30).
