PURPOSE: A steel pipe loop structure and a construction method thereof are provided to reduce construction time and costs by connecting adjacent facing steel pipes to each other. CONSTITUTION: A steel pipe loop structure comprises steel pipes(110a,110b), supports(120), couplers(140), and fixtures(130). One side of each steel pipe has an opening. The supports are installed in the openings to maintain the original shape of the steel pipes. The couplers couple the supports to the steel pipes and comprise coupling grooves and coupling protrusions. The coupling grooves are installed on both ends of the supports. The coupling protrusions are installed on both ends of the openings. The fixtures are installed on the outer surfaces of the steel pipes and comprise second coupling grooves corresponding to the coupling grooves of the couplers. |
