<p>PURPOSE: A method for minimizing redundant enhanced uplink allocation requests and fault-isolation enhanced uplink transmission failures and an apparatus thereof are provided to secure the reception of E-DCH allocation requests with a node-B. CONSTITUTION: A wireless transceiver comprises a channel allocation reply timer(118), a transmitter, and a receiver. The transmitter transmits E-DCH(enhanced dedicated channel) allocation requests. The receiver receives a message confirming the reception of the E-DCH allocation requests. The transmitter retransmits the E-DCH allocation requests or transmits an updated E-DCH allocation request when receiving a message indicating the reception failure of the E-DCH allocation requests or the resource allocation failure of the receiver.
