PURPOSE: A wide angle camera and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to make a structural surface of an image sensor by laminating an image sensor element structure and optical components on a top surface of a substrate which is near to a streamlined shape, thereby broadening a view angle. CONSTITUTION: A wide angle camera comprises a substrate, unit image sensor element structures, and optical components(310,320,330). A top surface of the substrate is composed of a plurality of surfaces(110,120,130), thereby being classified into a plurality of cell regions. The plurality of surfaces form predetermined angle with the adjacent surfaces. The unit image sensor element structures are formed on each surfaces of the substrate. The optical components are attached to the regions of the image sensor element structure corresponding to each cell region.
