PURPOSE: An image forming device, a controlling method and a recording medium are provided to transmit receiving data accumulated in a memory to a designated output place when a memory receiving mode is released. CONSTITUTION: RAM(103) memorizes data received in a facsimile mode. A CPU(102) displays a selection screen for enabling a user to select an output place of the received data memorized in the RAM according to release of a memory receiving mode. The CPU outputs the received data to the output place selected by the user among output places displayed on the selection screen. The CPU summarily outputs a plurality of the received data to the output place selected by the user.
