<p>The present invention concerns a method for sequestering organic carbon in soil, characterized in that it comprises the following operative phases: a) putting a soil comprising humus in contact with a catalyst comprising a complex of the metal -porphyrine and/or a metal -phthalocyanine type; b) exposing said soil comprising humus in contact with said catalyst, to electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength within the range of UV and/or visible. In particular, the aforementioned method is applicable to mitigate the emission of CO2 naturally produced by a soil and improve the structural stability of a soil, in order to reduce losses of fertile soil due to surface erosion.</p> |
