It is illustrated a caliper body (1) for a disc brake suitable for being arranged astride of a disc for a disc brake, comprising an attachment side portion (2), a non-attachment side portion 3) and at least one bridge (4), said bridge (4) being suitable for connecting such side portions and for being arranged astride of the disc, wherein the caliper body (1) comprises at least one portion made from thermoplastic material, reinforced with carbon fibres, with resistance to a temperature of at least 200°C.
